Del was a great historian, and focused much of his attention on the history of Seattle – specifically Queen Anne. (Although he had plenty of stories about other places & people, too!) He was a long time member of the Queen Anne historical society, and paid special attention to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, where he greeted many occupants as an old friend!
